Every companion animal that enters our doors, comes to us with a story of abandonment. We give them hope, love and a healthy start on their journey to a new home.
Humane Society Tennessee Valley operates a bit differently than what you might think. We are committed to joining companion animals and people who love them, and keeping them together for the long run. We see ourselves as a part of the wider community and our services reflect that.
But of course we would love you to come meet our current companion animals and adopt, foster or sponsor someone special.
How We’re Different
Collaboration
One of the ways we’re different is that 39 Partner Shelters in East Tennessee & beyond need our help daily. We transfer in animals from throughout the state and beyond. We also partner within the community, with vets and businesses to care for and adopt out our companion animals and support pet owners. More ›
Pet Help
Our PetHelp Program strives to keep pets and people together by offering services including a Wellness Clinic and Pet Food Pantry. We provide resources for our community and the animals they love. More ›
Community
We do adoption and outreach events througout the community to raise awareness. We also have programs like pet visits with seniors in care and volunteer opportunities for children to read to our animals. More ›
