The last Saturday of most months from 11AM-2PM <- OR DATES

Where?

Our Knoxville shelter location at 6717 Kingston Pike. Follow the signs.

What Do I Need?

A government issued Photo ID, proof of income and proof of ownership for your pets. 

Our Pet Food Pantry helps keep Pets and People Together! We host a Pet Food Pantry out of our Knoxville shelter location at 6717 Kingston Pike regularly. Please remember to check this website for cancellations and date changes. We rely on our community to donate food to support this program and unfortunately we do not always have food to distribute.

We serve anyone with a pet need in our region. Bring a government issued Photo ID, proof of income and proof of ownership for your pets and we will give you food that supplements what you can afford to buy on your own.

We are proud to be helping keep Pets and People Together through our Pet Food Pantry!  For the more fortunate, who don’t need assistance, please consider donating (we will go and buy the items for you) or drop off food, treats or litter outside our Pet Help entrance anytime.

If you are in need before the next date

Please send an email to pethelp@humanesocietytennessee.org to make an appointment to come to our animal shelter in Knoxville. 

Please include:

  • pets’ names
  • weights
  • species
  • age
  • type of food they eat now. 

We can’t guarantee we have the same food but we will try our best to give you a similar brand.  At this time, we do not carry any prescription food.
